EAST MOLINE, Ill. (July 18, 2010) – Ray Guss, Jr. , continued his string of domination at Quad City Speedway, Sunday, as he picked up another IMCA Late Model feature win, while continuing to build his points lead.
Other feature winners included Doug Crampton, A-Mods; Mark Vervynck, IMCA Mods; Chris Lawrence, Street Stocks; and Chad Tucker, 4-Cylinders.
Four cautions slowed the Late Model feature event, but nothing could deny Guss the win. He started inside row nine and methodically moved his way to the front. He got to third behind Mike Garland and Rob Toland and later moved under Toland for second on lap 13. He then moved up to the middle of the track and drove around Garland for the win.

MACOMB, Ill. (July 17, 2010) – When you’ve won two in a row you’re confidence should be pretty high, which makes it pretty tough on the rest of the field when you draw the pole for your attempt at number three!
That’s exactly what Steven DeLonjay did, Saturday, and he used it to run away to his third straight A-Mod feature win at Spring Creek Speedway.
In keeping with the theme, Jerry Ostby had to work for his win a bit, but nonetheless pulled away to take his second straight 4-Cylinder win easily.

Scott Hogan would also get a win in the modified division, his second this season.

After a sixth place finish in the late model feature, Strassheim climbed into the #64 4 cylinder of Randy Foor Racing. Strassheim took the lead and would pull away from the field early on. Nathan Chandler moved into the second spot on lap six following a red flag restart but wouldn’t be able to catch Strassheim who took the checkered flag in his first ride in a 4 cylinder.
