TSSR All Area Points ready for dry weather
Tuesday, May 4th, 2010LOMAX, Ill. (May 4, 2010) – For the first time in 2010, the Tri-State Speed Review is offering TSSR All Area Points. It will be possible for ALL drivers to have an equal chance to compete in their respective classes for TSSR All Area Points.
Late Models, Stock Cars, Modifieds, 4 Cylinders, Mod Lites and Hobby Stocks from tracks throughout the area will be grouped together to compete for the first All Area Points title, even if track rules may differ for equivalent class. For all of the before mentioned classes, except 4-Cylinders and Mod Lites, the best 20 points races will be counted toward TSSR All Area Points.
In the case of the 4-Cylinders and Mod Lites, the top 15 races will be counted.
Sprint cars will also have All Area Points, which will be based on participants’ top 10 finishes. Because classes of sprint cars only race at one area track, or for a single touring series, all three classes will be in one Sprint Car All Area Points class. If drivers race more than one class, all their sprint car races will count toward their points.
