Archdale takes IOLS win at Avcom Park Speedway

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

AVON, Ill. (June 26, 2010) – It was a very hot and humid Saturday night at Avcom Park Speedway, in Avon, Ill., as the Storm Racing Series was finally able to get a night of racing in the books.
The heat index at race time was near 100 degrees.
The Illinois Outlaw Lightning Sprints only had 8 cars show up for the night of racing. The heat probably kept some at home in the air conditioning.
The 1st Keizer Wheels 10 lap heat race hit the track with Chaz Gregory, of Pekin, Ill., and Brent Burrows, of Lewistown, Ill., in the front row and brought the field to the green. Gregory would take the lead at the green and lead all 10 laps for the win. Burrows would finish 2nd with Aaron Hull of Galesburg in his 1st mini sprint race finish 3rd and John Springer of Bushnell IL in 4th.
