Timmerman, Klingele highlight CFF Racing Show

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

MACOMB, Ill. (Aug. 25, 2010) – We are back with a miss match kind of CFF Racing Show this week. We have interviews with Tanner Klingele, of Quincy, Ill., the high school junior drives Hobby Stocks at Quincy Raceways weekly. Also on the show is Brett Timmerman, who got his first IMCA Stock Car feature win at 34 Raceway two weeks ago. Timmerman had been close several times and his win was one of most exciting you will ever see locally. Lastly, we have Jeff Strause, manager of W.I.S.C.R.S, a 1/24 slot car track/business near Gladstone, Ill. You may have seen a flyer for the business in our last edition of TSSR Bites. I took my son, Zach is eight, and he had an absolute blast, as did I. Something a little off the norm for us hear at the Tri-State Speed Review, but something all of our readers, listeners and racers would enjoy as a winter excape I think. Hope you enjoy the show.

Though it’s a little late, thanks to some technical difficulties during recording earlier this week, the CFF Racing Show powered by Buffalo Wild Wings is chalked full of great interviews and information. While Mother Nature was not kind to the racing world last weekend, we were able to get Cindy Klienkopf, of C&C Photography, to stop by for a few minutes. Cindy is the new track photographer at Quincy Raceways.
Hulett Publications is also proud to announce that we have enlisted a weekly contributor to the CFF Racing Show, Scott Diehl, from Joe Gibbs Racing Oil, will be on the show for the first time this weekend and will be back weekly for the distant future. This week we get to know more about the organization and the importance of Zinc in oil.
Also on the show is Dustin Griffin, Quincy, Ill., who is a racer and business owner. Griffin Performance Center and Griffin Sign Shop, in Quincy, are his ventures with his father, Tim. Griffin also races IMCA and Crate Late Models.
