Racing to a Cure for ALS Night at Jackson County Speedway
Thursday, August 26th, 2010MAQUOKETA, Iowa (Aug. 22, 2010) – The Season Championship races at the Jackson County Speedway on Saturday, August 28th, will take on additional meaning this year, as racers and fans help to raise money to fight ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
Racing to a Cure for ALS Night will be filled with great racing action and fun activities for kids and adults alike. There will be a duck pond, a bean bag toss, and face painting for the children, while the adults will get a chance to soak their favorite driver in the dunk tank. The activities will begin at 5:00pm, with proceeds going to the Iowa ALS Association & ALS Walk – Team Oberbreckling.
