CFF Racing Show Episode 9

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

cff-itunes-logo-copyThis week’s episode looks as usual with results from area tracks, as well as Jake’s trip to Vermillion County Speedway, in Danville, Ill. In segment 2 Dewain talks to Neil Culley, owner/general manager, of Stock Car Products, about a test session they did 15 to 20 years ago that showed that quick change rearends, in low gear settings, actually use less horsepower than 9″ rearends. This is all setting up a modern and current test Griffin Performance Center, Quincy, Ill., and the Tri-State Speed Review are going to do that will test five different gear ratios. David Weitholder has offered his car for the Chassis Dyno test. Keep your eye on the TSSR website for the time of the test as the public will be welcome. The third segment Jake and Dewain enter into a discussion about heat races and the number of cars in said races. We hope you enjoy and as always e-mail us questions or story ideas to cffracingshow@hulletpublications.com
