dsc_6240LOMAX, Ill. (June 20, 2009) – Boone McLaughlin received an undisclosed penalty at 34 Raceway, Saturday night, for his actions after the IMCA Late Model feature event, according to 34 Raceway owner Amy Laue.
However, rumors of physical altercations and other misconduct were greatly overblown, according to Laue.

The incident Saturday began at the start of the late model feature when Nate Beuseling and McLaughlin were scheduled to start side-by-side on the front. According to Laue, flagman Donnie Williams called a jackrabbit start on the front row and by rule put both drivers were sent to the tail of the field.
